The past five years have seen unprecedented increase in the number of Toastmasters clubs in East Africa. With Toastmasters club presence in five of the six member states of East Africa, the need to collaborate among clubs is higher now than ever. Firstly collaboration will ensure that standards are maintained at par in most clubs as members and clubs bench mark, young clubs receive mentorship and as established clubs raise the bar. Secondly by creating a camaraderie among regional members, the appetite for a Toastmasters District is whetted. This sends the members back to their clubs more invigorated to recruit the requisite numbers need to form a district.

For these reasons the following events have been lined up.
